Dr. Katariya, an alumni of Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi has worked at the Beth Israel Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine New York, Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami School of Medicine, Miami, Florida and was till recently the Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Miami. Dr Katariya is a well known cardiothoracic surgeon with interests in Off Pump By Pass Cardiac Surgery, Minimally invasive / Thoracoscopic Valve Surgery, Endovascular therapy for thoracic aortic disease / trauma, Surgical therapy for atrial fibrillation using thoracoscopic approaches and Lung cancer therapy. He has to his credit numerous Books, Monographs and Journals. Dr. Katariya has also been involved in research projects and has been invited as a speaker to various conferences the world over.
Currently, he is CEO and Chief Cardiothoracic Surgeon of Artemis Health Institute, Gurgaon.
