Conax, one of the top three security providers for digital TV and content distribution world-wide and the leading security provider in India, announced it has established sales and support operations in Mumbai. The company first launched continental India operations in Delhi, 2001, followed by founding Conax Access Systems Private Limited in 2003.

Within this short time-period, Conax Access Systems Private Limited has developed a leading presence in India. The company’s success in the expansive DTH and pay-TV market is based chiefly on the Conax corporate strategy for freedom of choice and wide selection of security evaluated consumer devices. The new sales and support office will further enhance the company strategy and sales and support network in the southern region of India, further complimenting the success of Conax Access Systems Private Limited operations in Delhi.

“Conax is security market leader in India. With a new regional base in Mumbai, Conax is better positioned to capture an even larger portion of the extensive Indian pay-TV market. The new office will also provide streamlined technical support for our customers in the region, such as Digicable (www.digicable.in), one of the largest MSO’s in India,” said Berit Svendsen, CEO, Conax.
