Mr. Anil Sethi conferred Outstanding Entrepreneur Award at Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards 2009 India
Mr. Anil Sethi, Chairman of Subhash Projects And Marketing Limited (SPML), one of India’s leading infrastructure companies was conferred the prestigious Outstanding Entrepreneur Award at the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards 2009 India. Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards 2009 India is organised by Enterprise Asia – a non-governmental organization in pursuit of entrepreneurship development across the region. The Outstanding Entrepreneurs Award recognises individuals who have shown outstanding tenacity, perseverance and courage in the business.
Mr. Anil Sethi has been highly instrumental in the growth and success of SPML, one of the leading infrastructure development companies in India with more than two and half decades of multi-disciplinary experience in Water, Power, Environment, Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Technology. The company which started as a water pumps agency in Guwahati has today grown into a multi – faceted conglomerate with a turnover of Rs. 1257 crore. He has been instrumental in developing the concept of turnkey developers for non conventional energy projects in India. He has also been actively involved in developing SPML into an end-to-end water solutions provider. As the Chief Mentor, he has nurtured, developed and empowered leaders at every level of the organization. He pioneered turnkey concepts in renewable energy projects and in many integrated water supply initiatives. Further, he extended the company’s operation into technological avenues specific to utility clients.
Mr. Sethi has been the recipient of several national accolades for his strides and accomplishments in the industry. He is a recipient of The Pride of India Gold star Award, India quality Gold star Award and The Vikas Jyothi Award, amongst others.

This award comes just a few days after SPML was awarded the Fastest Emerging Infrastructure Development Company (Large Category) at the Construction World Annual Awards 2009.
