Zombies To Marry During Zombie Voodoo Fest 2012 and Lead Zombie Survival Run & Tag
When does a wedding draw mass attendees? When the wedding party consists of Zombies! On June 9, 2012 during Zombie Voodoo Fest 2012 – Texas, located on Pleasure Island in the Southwest Texas city of Port Arthur, Texas, groom Trent Barlow and bride-to-be Ashley Wells will become husband and wife in the presence of thousands of witnesses attending the two-day festival.
The couple are to be dressed in full Zombie gear and make-up when they say their vows live onstage at approximately 9:00 PM CST. The couple will then open the Zombie Survival Run and Tag segment of festival.
Emerging Magazine, inc is producing the themed event on Pleasure Island to benefit International Children’s Art Network. Attending the event to promote the non-profit is actor Said Faraj, whose image is used as a war-fighter in the popular game, Medal of Honor. Said Faraj is also known for several movie roles, including Green Zone.
Zombie Voodoo Fest 2012 – Texas includes a battle of the bands contest, hot zombie male and female model contest, zombie survival run and tag, after dark dance party and the obligatory food, beverage and merchandise vendors. A kids entertainment area will be available for parents wanting to bring younger children.
