Husqvarna Introduces Personal Riding Mower for Smaller Yards
The WeedeaterOne – a real “game changer” at an MSRP of $699 available by February 2010 in major retail channels including Home Deport, Walmart, Kmart, Ace Hardware and True Value.
This new personal riding mower was designed from the ground up by “people who cut their own grass.*” Its smaller, more maneuverable, less intimidating and more affordable than any other rider on the market. The one blade/one pedal operation makes it easy to handle, and its compact size provides better maneuverability and takes far less storage space than bulky lawn tractors. It can be transported from store to home in the back of an SUV or minivan.
A number of built-in rider safety and ergonomic touch points make the WeedeaterOne lawn cutting experience a safe and comfortable one. In response to original consumer feedback, the WeedeaterOne is equipped with high-back comfort seating, padded steering wheel, easy to reach gear box and rear engine position to reduce the heat and noise found on front engine mounts.
The WeedeaterOne is backed by a two-year warranty and powered by a specially designed cleaner, quieter Briggs & Stratton engine that emits 75% less exhaust than units sold before 1995. The LawnScaper™ Deck System features a newly designed 26-inch deep draw cutting deck, 3-inch blade height adjustment and single Hi/lift 3-in-1 blade for bagging, mulching and side discharge. A 3-speed friction disk drive transmission with both (key start) electric and recoil starting includes three forward speeds and one reverse – all supported by 13-inch rear and 10-inch front pneumatic wheels.
