Impressions to Expressions The Art Competition 2010-2011 Launched

 The Bombay Store launches its art competition to recognize and reward promising talent. – Themed “‘FESTIVALS OF INDIA’ in POP Art Style entries accepted for the competition from 25th of August to the 22nd of September Mumbai 25th August, 2010: The Bombay Store today announced the launch of The Art Competition that will see artists use their creativity in Art & Design using the Theme “‘FESTIVALS OF INDIA’ in POP Art Style. The Competition is in two categories a) Open b) Students. The Bombay Store has initiated this art competition to recognize and reward promising talent in India and is looking to bring artists and their work into the limelight while serving to promote a culture that has a lively interest and appreciation of art.

The contest is open to all residents of India and participants will be in two categories ‘Open’ & ‘Student’. Commencing on the 25th of August the contest will run through to the 22nd of September and all entries will close on that day end of business hours at All Mumbai outlets of The Bombay Store (P.M. Road, Fort, Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel, Inorbit, Malad & Vashi)

All artwork/ submissions in both the categories must incorporate the Theme ‘FESTIVALS OF INDIA’ in POP Art Style. The competition will have no restrictions to the kind of art that is presented provided it is in keeping with the theme and provides an adequate interpretation of the same. Forms for the entries are available at all outlets of The Bombay Store.
