The company, currently claims a 20-25 percent (jointly business and consumer segment) market share in India’s anti-virus market., Currently they have Hyderabad-based Zoom Technologies as the national distributor for all its products but the company is now looking for new partners as a part of there expansion plan . Alexander Gnatusin, Director, Channel, SA for Kaspersky said “Business and Corporate segments remains under development of our old and time-proved partner Zoom Technologies. When it comes to retail market development Kaspersky Lab India (KLI) will consider 2 Distributor model from Jan 1, 2010″.

Zoom Technologies will remain as Retail Distributor in South and East regions. New Retail partner will responsible for West and North India market development. Past 2-3 years we at Kaspersky Lab received big number of Partnership request, they did big job meeting those companies collecting information and gathering references about. The company is still open for the new comers but those who want to join Kaspersky Lab India as Retail partner and did not communicate us hasn’t a lot of time to enroll with partnership request. KL is interesting in partner who will be 100% dedicated to only one brand and this is Kaspersky brand. Partner should respond number of criteria and what to share with you few of them: Responsibility, Understanding of local market, Good Name and tracking records, Dedication to one brand and the most important to fit out requirement is flexibility. New comer must be flexible to go with Kaspersky with closed eyes. If partner trust us only that way we can trust partner our business at high completive market as India is.

Alexander said “There are 3 main factors of company’s strength: high-level technologies and products, international team of recognized experts, partner network. Developing partner ecosystem is one of there main focus and they pay tremendous attention for local ability”.

The company is offering there partners in India as additional benefits are the best training system and PAN India support. Kaspersky Lab’s trainers will be visiting Kaspersky Lab India office and provide a number of training sessions for new local staff and for KL’s channel partners. KL believe that only through strong support system they can achieve understanding among there customers and future clients of what exactly Kaspersky Lab is and what benefits it gives as a brand.

Kaspersky’s channel philosophy is only channel sales, KLI office is not going to sell anything as well as our Master Distributors. We all together are aimed at providing our customers with reliable protection against all IT threats, developing Kaspersky Lab positions in the market and helping partners’ companies to grow and become bigger and more successful with Kaspersky Lab.
