Relieved of NSA charge, Varun addresses first rally

BJP candidate from Pilibhit Varun Gandhi addressed his first rally in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday since the National Securities Act charges were declared ‘invalid’ on Friday.

A confident Varun called on the voters of Pilibhit to vote for him in large numbers so that no one dares to contest against him in future.

“People recognise me in Uttar Pradesh now and they know I can do anything for the people,” he said.

Taking on the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, Varun said that the state is synonymous with lack of law and order.

“I am fighting the battle of the people. I went to jail for the people of Pilibhit,” he said.
