Thunderbird School of Global Management has launched an Executive Certificate in Global Negotiations as part of a new online executive education offering at the school. The program is open to professionals with an interest in expanding their global mindset and their cross-cultural communication skills. The Executive Certificate in Global Negotiations is the first in a new series of online open enrollment programs Thunderbird is launching this year.

The program is comprised of three eight-week courses facilitated by Thunderbird’s world-renowned faculty. The courses, Cross-Cultural Communication, Essentials of Global Negotiations, and Managing Conflict with a Global Mindset can be taken consecutively or concurrently.

Cross-Cultural Communication will help participants learn how culture can affect communication. Essentials of Global Negotiations will examine the theory and practice of negotiation in cross-cultural contexts. Managing Conflict with a Global Mindset will analyze conflict management negotiation styles.

Participants may complete the courses individually to receive a Certificate of Completion for each; however, all three courses must be completed to receive the Executive Certificate. Participants who sign up for all three courses at the same time will receive a 25 percent discount.

This is the first online instructor-facilitated certificate program offered in Thunderbird’s new Executive Certificate program portfolio. An Executive Certificate in Global Finance program will launch this spring, an Executive Certificate in Global Marketing program will be available this summer, and the Executive Certificate in Global Negotiations will start a new round on April 5 as well as June 7. All of the programs will be offered bimonthly following their initial launch date. More programs in the series are expected to be announced later this year.

Each course costs $1,980, or participants may take the entire three-course track for the Executive Certificate for $4,455. Prospective students may register online or for more information, contact Erin Wilson, Associate Director, Executive Education Programs, by phone or e-mail at 602-978-7627 or erin.wilson(at)thunderbird(dot)edu.
